piraat

Look at that beautiful colour, and a damn big beer too.

Piraat, 10.5%, 330mls.
Aroma of malts, sugar, honey. It is lighter in the mouth than the alcohol suggests, tropical fruits, vanilla, typical Belgium strong beer with strong alcohol warmth. Gloriously drinkable.

  1. Is that made by Moortgat? If not then it's a blatant Duvel rip-off! Even though it looks to be a very different type of beer, the bottle and lettering is identical.

    Sounds like a good beer though

  2. Its by Van Steenberge, all the beers in that lidl 6 bottle belgian set were.
